Police arrested the rider of the motorbike
A woman was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a collision between a car and a motorcyclist.
The crash occurred at around 6.30pm on Thursday in Fencepiece Road, Chigwell, resulting in the rider of the motorcycle being taken to Whipps Cross Hospital with serious injuries.
The 38-year-old woman was later arrested and is currently on bail pending further enquiries until July 14.
The driver of a grey Honda involved in the collision was uninjured.
