A pet owner has admitted allowing his dog to attack a walker.
Sylvester Campbell, of Lichfield Road in Woodford Green, admitted responsibility after his bullmastiff was dangerously out of control in Chester Road, Highams Park, on April 18.
Thames Magistrates Court heard Howard Clarke, 56, sustained minor arm injuries after being bitten by the dog, which is not prohibited under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.
Campbell was arrested at the scene and the bullmastiff was seized by police.
The 24 year-old has been remanded on unconditional bail until June 23 for sentencing.
He was released on bail to appear at Thames Magistrates Court today.
