Members of a synagogue enjoyed the sunshine as it held its summer fayre yesterday.

Those who attend Woodford Liberal Synagogue, Marlborough Road, enjoyed activities such as tug of war, necklace making, beat the goalie and throw a sponge at the Rabbi.

There was also a cake competition and a barbeque at the Lamborne End Centre, in Manor Road, Lamborne End, with nearly £2,000 being raised for the synagogue.
