One man has been discharged from hospital and another is no longer critical following a fatal crash on Wednesday.

Delano Moore, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene after his Audi A4 carrying three other passengers collided with a N38 bus outside of the Lee Valley Ice Centre in Lea Bridge Road, Leyton, at around 2:20am.

Police have today confirmed the front seat passenger is no longer in a critical condition, but is serious but stable.

One of two back seat passengers has been discharged from hospital, while the other still remains serious but stable at an east London hospital.

Mr Moore, a father-of-three from Chingford, had been travelling along the open stretch of the road when his car was in collision with the double-decker bus travelling towards Whipps Cross.

The Morrisons employee at Chingford Mount Road was pronounced dead at the scene.

Tributes to a ‘loving father’ have been left at the scene of the crash.

Friends, relatives and work colleagues described the 25-year-old as a ‘fun’ character who had the ability to make others laugh.

Staff at Morrisons in Chingford wrote: “Such a great character, your laugh will never be forgotten.”

Another message from ‘Sara’ read: “Delano, forever in my heart, you shouldn’t have gone like this.”

“He was one of the most fun people to be around. He was able to effortlessly make everyone else have a good time. RIP brother.”

Mr Moore attended George Mitchell School in Leyton and was a talented musician who went by the name Iam Shillin.

On Thursday, the bus driver was released from hospital with what police described as ‘bumps and bruises’.

A vital witness in the crash investigation has been traced by police, after they appealed for the driver seen near to Mr Moore's car moments before the crash to come forward.
