Firefighters are to stage two fresh strikes in their long-running dispute with the government over pensions.
Members of the Fire Brigades Union (FBU) will walk out for 24 hours on Thursday and again for seven hours on June 21.
The seven fire stations in Redbridge and Waltham Forest will run a reduced service with only urgent calls being attended by the London Fire Brigade (LFB).
LFB have been forced to deploy 27 engines around London and it advised minor incidents such as rubbish and grass fires will not be attended.
The 24-hour stoppage is the longest to be held in the union's three-year campaign, which has seen 12 separate strikes.
The union is protesting at changes to firefighters' pensions and a later retirement age.
