Owner of Victoria 2 Schoolwear in Hoe Street Walthamstow, Janet Cohen, is taking legal action against Lammas School and Business College in Seymour Road, Leyton, after they changed their pupil’s uniform.

Howeve, she says she is is now left with £24,000 worth of branded jumpers and sweatshirts after the school decided to change its uniform.

Lammas school uniforms are now sold from a stockist in Newham.

The council will represent the school at trial on October 9.

A spokesman said: “The school denies the allegations Mrs Cohen has made and will be vigorously defending the court proceedings.

“Due to reasons of confidentiality neither the Council nor the school can comment further at this stage.”
