altham Abbey Church is offering 56 places on the cream tea cruise
It is hoped an offer of cream tea and a cruise along the River Lee will entice daytrippers to raise funds for a church.
Waltham Abbey Church has organised the event on the vessel The Lady of the Lee Valley, which will leave Broxbourne Boat Centre in Old Nazeing Road on July 19 laden with homemade scones, jam and cream.
There are 56 tickets available priced £13 and anyone wanting to purchase one can contact Sally Binalle on 01992 711849 by June 29.
