Joe Clancy is a member of the committee of Aldersbrook Tennis Club in Blake Hall Crescent, Wanstead, and he set up a partnership with Waltham Forest College for a weekly sports club for students with learning disabilities.
He is speaking out about the importance of sport in the development of young people with learning disabilities.
Mr Clancy believes sport gets them to focus on punctuality, attendance, listening to instructions and working as a team.
