Will TFL be out replacing all the smashed bus shelters during the night and the council picking up the kicked over dustbins and sweeping up the rubbish and debris? Bet there will not be a policeman in sight.

The Hog’s Head in George Lane? shirley shome mishtake. I'll be watching the game at Jet's Wine Bar in George Lane, also the Railway Bell picture is either wrong or that's Carl the landlord in a wig. A few years ago I tried to get a free wig on the NHS but they said I had Toupée.

I'm glad someone else has noticed that - The Wanstead Tap is in E7!!!

Maybe they should change the name to the New York Tap or the Moscow Tap???

Good God.

The Hog’s Head in George Lane. I'm sorry, the what, where?

Railway Bell in George Lane if you want to sit in a sticky, dreadfully worn out pub.

The Duke in Nightingale Lane, Wanstead, if you can't manage to find your way two doors down to The Nightingale, which is far nicer.

Can one obtain a reasonably price vegetarian meal at any establishments mentioned, Squire?

'West Wanstead'? Which estate agent came up with that? Are you sure it's not 'East Chelsea'?

We went to watch the match at the newly refurbished Lord Raglan on Saturday night and had a fantastic time. They had a DJ on getting the crowd going, beer was flowing and we all had a great night.

In fact the only thing that was bad was the result!
