Epping Forest Museum is looking for First World War memorabilia
Epping Forest Museum is encouraging people with First World War memorabilia to bring it along to an event as it prepares an exhibition.
It is hoped the items will help the museum document the links between the district and the Great War and make up part of a show at the Civic Offices in High Street, Epping, in August.
A more substantial and long-running display is planned at the museum in Sun Street, Waltham Abbey, once it has been refurbished.
Visitors to the free event at Budworth Hall in High Street, Ongar, on June 21, will be able to hear about the progress of the renovation and also see an exhibition by Ongar Millenium Society.
