People have a chance to quiz Transport for London (TfL) about the impact of the Tour de France on the local area at a drop-in session tomorrow.

TfL officials will answer questions on the plans of the July 7 race at Woodford Methodist Church, in Derby Road, South Woodford, from 4.30pm to 7.30pm.

The race route will take in High Road, Woodford Green, and Woodford New Road, South Woodford, after riders arrive from Epping Forest and head for central London, via Waltham Forest.

The racers are expected to arrive at 2.40pm with roads closed along the route from 10am to around 6pm.

The 'impact' will be that everyone can have a jolly old drink up and let their hair down and escape slog for a few hours, we do not need surveys and Q and A's, tell them all to pop down one of the pubs on route to enjoy the day which should be a great experience.
