The Conservatives have chosen a prospective parliamentary candidate for the Leyton & Wanstead constituency.
Matthew Scott, 29, will challenge Labour’s John Cryer at the general election next year.
He said: “It is an honour and privilege to have been selected as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Leyton and Wanstead.
“I look forward to talking to local people during the weeks and months leading up to the General Election and spreading the positive news about the real achievements of Conservatives in Government.”
