Police in Waltham Forest have released CCTV images of a couple wanted in connection with theft. 

The pair are suspected of stealing a steam generator iron on display from Curry's in Cork Tree Way, Chingford, on April 7.

They walked out of the store at 6pm with the Tefal iron worth £130.   

The CCTV images have been released to the Guardian as part of a joint venture with the Metropolitan Police to identify potential perpetrators of unsolved crimes in the borough.

Anyone with information should contact Waltham Forest police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
