A radical Muslim convert who once called for Sharia Law in Waltham Forest has been convicted for what is being labelled as the first case of Muslim sectarian violence on the streets of Britain.
Jordan Horner, 22, from Walthamstow, is due to appear at the the Old Bailey this morning after being found guilty of an attack on two men in London’s Edgware Road on May 10 last year.
Violence broke at a protest led by radical preacher Anjem Choudary, who was calling for jihad in Syria.
Sunni Muslim Horner, who renamed himself Jamal Uddin, was reportedly involved in the attack on two Shia Muslims and will be sentenced with four others today.
