Primary school rugby festival at Eton Manor rugby club in Wanstead

A primary school tag rugby festival involving four competitions and 320 children from across Redbridge took place yesterday.

The event was organised by Christchurch Primary School, in Wellesley Road, Ilford, and was hosted by Eton Manor rugby club in Nutter Lane, Wanstead.

Oakdale Junior School, in Granville Road, South Woodford, won the cup.

Aldersbrook Primary School, in Harpenden Road, Wanstead, won the plate.

Avon House Primary School, in Immams Row, Woodford Green, won the shield.

And Fairlop Primary School, in Kingsley Road, Barkingside, won the bowl.
