A burglar must carry out 150 hours of unpaid work and pay £1,600 compensation to his victims, a court has ruled.
Venko Arsov, 25, of Woodland Road in Leyton, was convicted of house burglary and theft, despite pleading not guilty in court in November.
The case was adjourned at the beginning of this month for an interpreter.
Arsov targeted a home in Leslie Road, Leytonstone, and stole £3,150 of goods.
