A bar’s licence is under review by Waltham Forest police following concerns of an “unacceptable level of crime and disorder” at the late-night venue.

Police submitted the application for a review of the licence to the council claiming Loco Lounge in Station Road, Chingford, has failed to promote licensing objectives to prevent crime and disorder, public nuisance, and protect public safety and protection of children from harm.

The owners of Loco Lounge have  declined to comment pending the outcome of the review.
