A fire crew tackled a blaze yesterday morning which spread to neighbouring gardens.

Up to 10 firefighters from Loughton Fire Station attended to the fire in Eversley Close, Loughton, yesterday at 10am.

A garden shed and surrounding fences were 100 per cent alight. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels to extinguish the blaze and prevent the fire from starting up again.

The incident involving no reports of injuries was over by 10:45am. A fire investigation is being carried out to establish the cause.
