X Factor and The Voice stars to perform at Essex Pride

The Voice and X Factor stars have been announced in the line-up for Essex Pride.

Christina Marie, finalist of The Voice 2014, and Lucy Spraggan, from X Factor 2012, will both perform at the event.

Supporting acts such as DJs, drag acts and the annual Essex Pride Dog Show will also feature at the event in Chelmsford’s Central Park on July 6.

The keynote speaker will be lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) activist Elly Barnes, whose Educate and Celebrate movement addresses LGBT bullying in schools.

Market stalls, fair rides and food stands will also feature in the showcase arena marquee.

Entry is free for under 18s and £5, with a wristband, for those 18 or older.

Wristbands can be purchased at www.essexpride.org or on the day.
