The streets of Walthamstow came alive last night as members of the Algerian community celebrated their World Cup victory over South Korea.
Despite England’s worst World Cup campaign since 1958 the spirit of the tournament is still very much alive for football fans of varying nationalities across the borough.
Photographer Adrian Callaghan captured the euphoric fans as they sang and danced along Hoe Street last night after their team won 4-2 in Brazil.
