A massive piece of art covering 10 hectares will be mowed into the Epping Forest landscape to celebrate the visit of the Tour de France.
The piece, by Nicola Burrell, has been specifically designed to be visible from the air during the race on July 7.
Ms Burrell will work with students from Writtle agricultural college, in Writtle, just outside Chelmsford, to mow the work, which shows three racing cyclists on bicycles, at North Weald Airfield.
