A landmark Victorian water tower converted for residential use has been put on the market for £1.25m.
The Landmark Tower, located within the Repton Park housing development, in Manor Road, Woodford Green was converted into a three-bedroom home 12 years ago and will change hands for the first time.
Hunt Property Services, based in Chigwell Road, Woodford Green, is looking to sell the property, with eight floors with its own private lift.
The 50m high, Grade II listed Landmark Tower was formerly the water tower for Claybury Hospital, a Victorian lunatic asylum with around 2,000 inmates, which was eventually closed and sold in 1996.
For more on this story, including more pictures from the inside of the tower, see this week's Wanstead and Woodford Guardian - out on Thursday.
