Green Party supporters gathered in their thousands at the weekend to march against austerity.
Residents of Waltham Forest and Redbridge were among around 50,000 people to take part in the event, organised by People’s Assembly.
Beginning outside the BBC building in Portland Place the walk trailed through London, ending in Parliament Square.
Members were then addressed by speakers including Green MP Caroline Lucas, Owen Jones, Mark Steel and comedian Russell Brand.
The BBC was chosen as a starting point as the party believes that economic policies are reported with bias towards the government.
Mark Dawes of Waltham Forest & Redbridge Green Party said the march showed the level of anger over what he called "destructive austerity policies".
