The sentencing of a dog owner whose bullmastiff attacked a walker has been adjourned.
Sylvester Campbell, of Lichfield Road in Woodford Green, admitted responsibility after his bullmastiff was dangerously out of control in Highams Park field off Charter Road on April 18.
The 24-year-old was remanded on unconditional bail to appear at Thames Magistrates' Court for sentencing yesterday but has now been delayed until July 21.
Police were called to the field following a report a man had been bitten by a dog.
Park user Howard Clarke, 56, sustained minor arm injuries during the attack and Campbell was arrested at the scene.
The bullmastiff which is not prohibited under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, was seized by police.
