Drivers have been advised to be mindful of where they park their cars ahead of the Tour de France coming through Epping Forest on July 7.
Essex County Council has advised that vehicles parked on Palmers Hill and the High Street in Epping may need to be moved before 4pm on July 6.
Any vehicles left parked on Palmers Hill and the High Street are at risk of being moved if they are obstructing the event organisers from building the infrastructure needed for the sprint section.
Motorists attending the Epping Show or visiting restaurants and pubs in Epping on July 6 will be able to park for free in the off-street Cottis Lane and Bakers Lane car parks.
There is more information about road closures at LeTourEssex.com.
