A group of Cubs have surprised their leaders on their wedding day.
The 30th Loughton Cubs turned out as a guard of honour at the wedding of their Akela, Robert Myles, and assistant cub leader Clare Rogers at St Johns Church in Church Lane, Loughton on Saturday.
The newlyweds, who met eight years ago at a scout event, were delighted with the gesture.
Mr Myles said: "It was a complete surprise we had no idea. It was really nice.
"We came out of the church and they were just there either side of us."
The stunt was organised by Mr Myles' sister and the parents of the boys.
