A public consultation is to be held over plans to convert a church hall into housing and build a new hall beside it.
The meeting will take place at Holy Trinity Church, in Hermon Hill, South Woodford on Wednesday between 5pm and 7.30pm.
Neighbours can find out more about the development proposals for the site, view an exhibition of plans, and ask questions to members of the development team.
Reverend Robert Hampson said: "First of all I must point out that no planning application has been lodged yet and these plans may change.
"This meeting is an opportunity for residents to come and hear about the plans we have and to ask any questions.
"I want to reassure residents that the old hall will look the same from the road, it is not going to be knocked down or changed architecturally.
"We want to listen to residents' concerns and views on the plans at this early stage, nothing has been approved yet."
