A school took part in a charity run this morning at a cricket club.
Pupils from St Antony's school, in Mornington Road, Woodford Green, raised money for HemiHelp by lapping the field at Woodford Wells Cricket Club in Monkhams Lane, Woodford Green.
Nina Maskell, 41, of Stag Lane, Buckhurst Hill, and friend Lesley Maeda, 42, of West Grove, Woodford Green, organised the event as they plan to trek to Machu Picchu for the charity.
They have so far raised over £11,000, beating their £8,000 target, and expect to raise an additional £4,000 from today's run.
Ms Maskell’s nine-year-old son Thomas suffers from Hemiplegia, a condition which causes weakness on one side of the body.
