p> Representatives of Funky Mojoe were in court on Monday facing a winding up order over £127,000 owed in fees incurred during a long-running legal battle.

Story two

A landmark Victorian water tower converted for residential use. has been put on the market for £1.25m .

The Landmark Tower, located within the Repton Park housing development, in Manor Road, Woodford Green was converted into a three-bedroom home 12 years ago and will change hands for the first time.

Story three

More than 700 people have signed a petition calling for safety to be improved at a major roundabout .

Motorists using Redbridge Lane East in Redbridge currently have to wait up to 20 minutes to exit on to the Redbridge roundabout, as the current traffic light phasing elsewhere on the roundabout means only one or two cars have the chance to emerge at any one time.

Story four

The ex-managing editor of the News of the World was found not guilty of conspiring to hack voicemails.

Stuart Kuttner, 73, of Woodford Green, was accused of conspiring to hack phones between October 3, 2000 and August 9, 2006, but he was cleared by the Old Bailey jury verdict on Tuesday.

Story five

 

The downsizing of a popular post office branch will only add to the deterioration of Barkingside High Street,. The owners of a nightclub closed due to crime and anti-social behaviour are according to the deputy leader of the council .

Despite a petition calling on the Post Office to retain the branch earlier this year, it has now finalised plans to franchise it to company Quidsavers, which will next month take over the premises formerly occupied by the Co-Operative store.
