Firefighters were called to tackle a fire in a car workshop on Friday night.
The unit in Dobbs Weir Road, Roydon was twenty percent alight when crews arrived at around 7pm.
According to the incident commander the fire involved acetylene cylinders which store gas used when welding or cutting metal.
The fire in the small workshop was out by 8.15pm but a 200m hazard zone was established at the scene while cylinders were being cooled.
