Parents have reacted with anger after football was banned at a school following claims of poor behaviour.

Epping Primary School in Coronation Hill, Epping, has stopped children playing the beautiful game at lunchtimes for the rest of the school year after some children were heard using bad language and had been rude to staff.

Speaking of the ban, which was introduced two weeks ago one parent, who did not want to be named, said: “It’s unbelievable, especially during the World Cup”.

The Guardian has approached the school for a comment.
