A Jewish Community Centre in Buckhurst Hill will raise money for its charity by supplying food and drink to thousands of spectators when the Tour de France visits the district next week.

The Chabad Jewish Community Centre will be offering Kosher food and cold drinks as the cycling festival passes outside its doors in Epping New Road on Monday July 7.

The building will open its facilities to the public from midday and will also provide seating for people to sit and enjoy the event.

Chabad Jewish Community Centre manager Rabbi Odom Brandman, said: “It is an exciting day that I hope will bring the community together.”
