A police operation aimed at targeting knife and gang crime in London saw the arrest of 20 people in Waltham Forest last week.
On Wednesday Operation Big Wing involved more than 5,800 officers from 32 boroughs.
Officers from the Territorial Support Group, Trident and the Flying Squad carried out raids and arrests.
Of 183 arrests made in east London, 20 were in Waltham Forest.
Two dogs, believed to be pitbulls, were seized from two separate addresses in the borough during the operation.
