The Friends of Swaines Green and Epping Forest Countrycare have been awarded the 2014 Living Landscapes Award by Essex Wildlife Trust.
The award recognises the outstanding conservation work carried out over five years on Lovelocks Field, Epping.
Criteria included that the nominated should be ‘Good for Wildlife, Good for People and the Community and Good for the Local Economy’.
The award was presented to Kevin Mason of Essex Countrycare as well as The Friends of Swaines Green Chairman, Audrey Wheeler by well known broadcaster and nature photographer, Simon King.
