A creative writing group will be performing some of its works in Wanstead on Tuesday.

Members of the group, which is affiliated to the Redbridge Institute of Adult Education, will be holding a public reading of works on Tuesday at 7.45pm at the Wanstead House Community Association, on The Green in Wanstead.

There will be a wide range of plays including, prison visits, what women discuss whilst painting nudes in a life drawing class, and a comedy trip to the hospital.

The event is part of a 15-week creative writing course and the group that encompass all ages and backgrounds, have been working on their pieces for over a month.

The event is free and open to the public and complimentary wine, soft drinks and snacks will be served.
