A riding school has awarded £8,400 by the Olympic Legacy committee to provide 350 hours of free lessons.
Aldersbrook Riding School, in Empress Avenue, Woodford Green, was awarded the grant yesterday to increase access to and participation in riding for hard to reach communities.
The lessons were offered to keep the 'Olympic and Paralympic equestrian legacy alive'.
Lessons will only be open to those who have a disability, are members of a faith group or are in the over-50s age bracket.
