Essex police are appealing for information after a woman was robbed in her own car.

A Cartier watch worth thousands of pounds was stolen from a woman in her 20s from Broxbourne on Saturday night in a restaurant car park.

At around 11:10pm the robber leaned into the car, parked in Zizzi's car park in York Hill, Loughton, and demanded her watch.

He then forced it off of her wrist and ran off towards High Street.

The robber is described as white, in his mid 20s, of slim build, around 5ft 6ins.

He was wearing a plain grey zip-up cotton hooded jumper and blue jeans.
