A spectator was hit by a Tour de France cyclist today, with four riders falling off their bicycles.
Redbridge Police reported on Twitter around 3.45pm that Andy Schleck and three other riders had gone down after clipping a spectator in Woodford New Road, South Woodford, near the Napier Arms pub.
All cyclists involved were able to continue and there were no serious injuries.
Reports suggest the spectator was taking a picture at the time.
