Primary school pupils entertained parents and teachers with a production loosely based on the Wizard of Oz.
Follow the Yellow Brick Road was put on by around 60 Nazeing Primary School pupils yesterday and will be seen again this evening.
The children, most of whom are in year six, had a month to prepare and stayed for up to three days a week after school to rehearse.
Junior class teachers Michelle Gritton, Lynne Godsave and Louise Seaman wrote and choreographed the production with ideas from the children.
Mrs Gritton said: “The pupils have really enjoyed it and they have been incredibly dedicated.
“They’ve worked really well together and supported each other the whole time.
“We’re very proud of them and how they have improved since we started.”
