A pound shop that opened in Buckhurst Hill has closed after just over one month later.

Mostly Just A Pound started trading in lower Queen's Road in May but closed six weeks later.

The owner of the premises, who asked not to be named, described the shop as "an experiment".

The shop, which was situated among various boutiques and salons, was opened by tenancy holders, Safedale Ltd, after the company were unable to find anyone to lease the premises.

Safedale Ltd have refused to comment.
