A brand new cycling studio in Loughton has raised £200 for Diabetes UK.

Cycle Rhythm opened its doors to 20 members of a local weight watchers group ahead of the grand opening this Saturday.

The group were led by two instructors who created exercise regimes to upbeat, modern music and supplied goody bags with coconut water after the class.

Event organiser Lucy Edwards, said: “the class went really well, we raised £200 for Diabetes UK.

“It was a tough workout but everyone did very well, we are so pleased.”

Cycle Rhythm will offer weight training and indoor spinning classes which will be accompanied by a live DJ sets and a leaderboard system.

The studio will open up to the public this Saturday 12 with two classes at 9.30 and 11.30am.
