A team of the best young female footballers in Waltham Forest were crowned champions of the capital at the weekend as they brought the London Youth Games Cup home.
On Sunday, school girls from years nine and ten selected for the squad beat teams from all over London including a 5-0 defeat over Kingston and a 4-0 victory over Hounslow.
In the end, they faced Hammersmith and Fulham in the finals.
After a final score of 1-1 the girls were victorious in a nail-biting penalty shoot out in front of crowds at Crystal Palace.
The Balfour Beatty London Youth Games is Europe's largest annual youth sports festival.
