The leading authority for investigating sudden and unexplained deaths in Waltham Forest has appointed three new staff.
Assistant coroners Barrister Ian Wade, Laura Johnson and Elizabeth Bussey-Jones were sworn in at Walthamstow Coroner's Court by Waltham Forest Mayor councillor Terry Wheeler on July 3.
The ceremony was overseen by coroner Nadia Persaud at the Queens Road court which investigates cases across five London boroughs including Redbridge.
Around 3,000 deaths in east London are reported to the Coroner each year but only a tenth or around 380 inquests are held each year.
