A man has been charged with driving offences following a collision in Loughton which resulted in a cyclist being seriously injured.
Stuart Hill, 39, a builder of Lippitts Hill, Loughton, has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving, dangerous driving, failing to stop after an accident and failing to report an accident.
He will appear before magistrates at Chelmsford today.
The collision happened at around 8.55am on Saturday, July 12, in Epping New Road and involved a black Mercedes E350, a blue Citeroen Berlingo van and a bicycle.
A 32-year-old woman cyclist from London suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital by air ambulance.
