A trust working with vulnerable people raised £6,000 as it celebrated its 50th anniversary.

Chigwell Riding Trust for Special Needs yesterday welcomed clients, staff and volunteers for a day of entertainment.

Guests included Epping Forest MP Eleanor Laing, Epping Forest District Council chairman, Tony Boyce, and Epping Mayor Barbara Scruton.

Charity manager Daborah Hall said: “I would like to thank each and every person who helped to make it such a special event.

“The day was just fantastic, the atmosphere was amazing, and the day couldn’t have gone better.”
