A Hindu festival was marked at a school last week with a procession featuring traditional dress and music.
Avanti Court Primary School, in Carlton Drive, Barkingside, celebrated the Ratha Yatra festival on Wednesday.
Pupils enjoyed carving fruits as offerings to the deities and Indian classical dancing.
