Nick Alston
The Essex Police and Crime Commissioner has been elected chairman of the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners (APCC).
Nick Alston was elected to the position today at the APCC annual general meeting in Manchester.
Mr Alston said: "I am delighted to be elected by my fellow Police and Crime Commissioners
“I pay tribute to the excellent work undertaken by my predecessor, Tony Lloyd, and I hope to build on the foundations he has created.”
