Mini graduates donned cap and gown to celebrate making it through pre-school.
Calvary Pre-School in Leyton was the first in the area to have an official graduation ceremony for their class of 2013.
Nursery Manager Tanique Bailey said it was an emotional goodbye for the seven four-year-olds who left the Vicarage Road centre.
She said: “I felt really warm and happy.
“All the parents came out it was so emotional for them. When their children started they couldn’t speak a word of English and now they are really improving.
“This is the first pre-school graduation in Leyton. We decided that we should celebrate them - for them to experience graduation from pre-school straight to the university.”
