A trial date has been set for a teenager accused of storing a firearm.

Omari Crawford, of William Morris Close in Walthamstow, is accused of possessing a sawn-off shotgun following his arrest in Hackney on January 3.

The 18-year-old appeared at Snaresbrook Crown Court on April 14 where he pleaded not guilty to the offence.

A trial date was set for June 30 but has now been adjourned until March 23 2015 following a hearing yesterday.

Crawford has been granted conditional bail to live and sleep at the Walthamstow address until the trial next year.
