A teenager knifed near a church in a quiet residential street has been discharged from hospital.
The 19 year-old was stabbed in Castle Avenue, Highams Park, on July 9 at around 10:40pm.
It was initially thought he had been stabbed outside the Food and Wine off-licence in The Avenue as that is where police and emergency services were called to.
The victim collapsed outside the off-licence and was helped into a car and taken to hospital by two friends where he remained in a critical condition for 24 hours.
Police confirmed today the victim was discharged from hospital on Monday.
The incident is being investigated by Trident, a Metropolitan Police gang unit, and no arrests have been made.
